Prof. Dr. Džamna Vranić is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Sarajevo. She teaches courses in Family Law. A specific area of her academic interest involves issues of parental responsibility and alternative dispute resolution in family matters.

She is the author of the book “Introduction to Parental Responsibility” (Sarajevo, Faculty of Law publication, 2019), and co-author of the publications: “Analysis of Case Law in Family Disputes and Recommendations” (Sarajevo, Atlantic Initiative, 2020), “Guidelines for Assessing and Determining the Best Interests of a Child” (Sarajevo, Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Council for Children of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 2018), and “Guidelines for the Prevention of Sexual and Gender-Based Harassment at Universities” (Sarajevo, Atlantic Initiative, 2017–2018).

She has published numerous academic and professional papers and is the author of several legislative initiatives.

The House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina elected Prof. Dr. Vranić as a member of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina in October 2024.
